as i have mentioned, the reason we were in mexico was for a wedding of some dear friends. after the ceremony, while the wedding party was taking photos, there was a cocktail party, and being served were the most delicious mojitos i have ever had. they were also very easy to drink and the waiters would immediately bring you a new one when they saw that yours was empty. so, i was drinking mine pretty slowly so as not to get too tipsy too soon. jim, however, was not taking it as easy. after dinner (and more drinks) there was dancing. jim, who usually doesn't dance much (but is actually a great dancer), was raring to go. he pulled me out on the dance floor and away we went. we were cutting a rug like nobody's business. it was so much fun! the whole night, jim kept calling us "america's best dance team", which was hilarious. and during the ten minute walk back to our hotel that night, jim could not stop talking about dancing. how much he loved dancing and wanted to go dancing all the time when we got back home. "we were america's best dance team! we were so awesome! we have to dance more often. i can't believe <insert name of a friend> wasn't dancing with us! it was so fun! america's best dance team!!!" and, while i have a feeling that we won't be going out dancing as much as was promised that night, i do plan on taking him up on the offer sometime soon! so, look out minneapolis! america's best dance team is on the loose and ready to boogie!
