our son is notorious for eating food without asking first. while i am well aware that down the line as the kids get older, they will not need to ask first, for now he is only seven; so he needs permission. however, he does not always ask permission, and it really frustrates me. his main vices are cheese sticks and yogurt. he has been known to eat three of each while i am showering. he is a little piggy that way.
so i found it a little (just a little) funny when the other day he ate four yogurts without asking. he was downstairs reading a book and i was upstairs cleaning. when i came down, there were four yogurt containers on the table (oh yeah, he also forgets to throw his garbage away). why is this funny, you ask? because those four yogurts happened to be activia. we'll see how he feels today. my guess: regular.

Hehe. I remember when my daughter swiped the grapefruit juice without asking, thinking it was diet soda!
ReplyDeleteI'll be putting a recipe up for you Wednesday night btw.
Hahaha, that is too funny!
ReplyDeleteWhen we were younger we always asked for permission to eat anything. The only thing we didn't have to ask permission for was water, haha.
I love your sweater! Great outfit!
Hahaha - oh goodness! Hope his little tummy is OK today :) And I am obsessed with that sweater. Obsessed. You look so cute & cozy!

LOL... oh my... this could be an interesting day for him!
ReplyDeleteAnd I absolutely LURV that sweater. If I were as slim as you, I'd totally have to sneak it from you. You are in luck. I am still round and short! ;-)
LOL, that is too funny!
ReplyDeleteI just love that sweater, it looks so cozy and comfy!
Maybe put the food somewhere higher, so he can't reach? And leave fruits where he can... So he makes better choices. :)
ReplyDeleteLove your sweater very much - so cosy! x
That story is hilarious...and I LOVE that sweater!!

Ha!! I am chuckling at that just a bit! It'll be a little cleanse for him perhaps!
ReplyDeleteVery nice sweater, it looks so warm! I haven't been down to b. in ages.
LOL Aw! Poor guy! My kids do that sometimes too. On the plus side, yogurt is healthy. At least it's not cookies or something (my oldest was amazing at his sneaking cookies technique). I also love your coated jeans!
ReplyDeleteUh oh...joke's on him! :) Too funny!
ReplyDeleteLove the shoes! I did not see these at my Target? Shucks!
ReplyDeleteMy 7 yo boy does the same. He puts food away in a hurry. He does occasionally ask and is getting better about doing so.
Positive reinforcement is the key. Good luck.
That sweater looks insanely awesome and comfy! Ha! I hate yogurt so I am confused by Activia and it's made up bacteria for pooping!
ReplyDeleteI would live in that sweater if I were you - so cozy!
ReplyDeleteThat reminds me of my friend whose daughter ate chocolate candy without asking, only it turned out to be Ex-Lax. She learned that lesson well!
you are looking fly. that sounds like henry's going to be a wee bit sick. which will not be pretty for him. i guess we'd call that logical consequences.
ReplyDeleteThat sweater looks so cozy!! xx. McKenna Lou
