i have decided that i need to start living a much more exciting life so that i have cool stories to tell you all on this here blog. we have been lying pretty low lately and our activities around here don't really make for riveting blog entries. unless you want to hear about going to the gym, the park, the grocery store, the coffee shop, vacuuming my living room, changing diapers, cooking dinner and doing loads and loads of laundry...maybe with a nap and a shower thrown in there somewhere. if you do want to hear these stories, please call me. i have a ton more just like it! in the meantime i will try, just for you, to do something fun and exciting this weekend so that i have an awesome post for you sometime next week. or perhaps i will start looking for a job as a secret agent or something like that. now that would make for great stories...probably even just the job search alone. although, once i get the job i likely won't be able to talk to you about it. and if i do i will probably have to kill you...this is starting to sound like a bad idea. i guess i'll just stick with my regular life and hope that some sort of crazy antics happen while i am cleaning the bathroom today!
have an exciting thursday, all!
xoxo, nora bird

Lol! I completely understand lack of content!!! Im a fulltime mommy and now that the summer has begun and both kiddos are home it seems like all I do is clean. Oh well, at least we look good doing it lol
ReplyDeleteI love your blazer :)
I hope I am half as stylish and cute as you when I'm pregnant! Love this look. And life as a secret agent sounds awesome :)

Gosh you are a cute pregnant lady :) Love that idea of being a secret agent...I applied for the CIA actually (ha!) but they only had posts in D.C....not my cup of tea.

you are so stylish with that cute baby bump! Surely life as a secret agent would be just as storyless as you're not allowed to tell anyone anything?! ;)
ReplyDeleteI feel the same way about my life. Sometimes I am grasping for things to write about because yard work and my recent bout of poison ivy is just not that entertaining. But here I am, writing about it in a comment on your blog :)

Thank you for the lovely comment on my blog. This is such an elegant look, I'm sure I'd never look this good pregnant!
ReplyDeleteYou are so funny Nora. My life isn't much more exciting than that right now, I can say that much!
ReplyDeleteI love your blazer, it is too cute. And again, your shoes, I really want to steal all of yours and Megan's shoes! Who cares if they fit? :)
Haha, your life sounds about as exciting as mine :) Isn't is always great when something happens that you can blog about?

Me too! My life has not been too exciting lately, but at least you have an excuse - you're pregnant! I love the shape of that jacket!
ReplyDeleteSomehow you manage to make cleaning the bathroom sound interesting, so even if it doesn't feel exciting it still makes for a good read.:)
ReplyDeleteAnd your jacket is awesome, which is always exciting, right?
Hee hee, Agent Bird is on the case!! The cardie is lovely!
ReplyDeleteI like the blazer. It drapes really nicely.
ReplyDeleteHeehee sounds like my life recently (minus the children) but sometimes the mundane can be comforting. Love the simple outfit and the great shoes! P.S. Congrats to Megan on her excitement- eeek very exciting (I'm late to the party on that one!)
ReplyDeleteWhat?! I love stories about coffee shops and cleaning toilets! You look quite chic! Way too nice to just be doing laundry in, actually. ARE you seeking spy work?!

Life isn't too interesting is these part of the woods either. I do enjoy your blog very much and look forward to all of your fabulous looks. This outfit does not disappoint!
ReplyDeleteI am loving these heels on you! Have a great upcoming weekend! (p.s. I love the phrase--crazy antics--haha!)

How can two people such as myself and my husband have so much darn laundry? This makes me feel better regarding you having loads and loads of it too with one additional person meaning, Mimi. Nora, you are a beautiful woman and to see you become even more gorgeous while pregnant amazes me. I don't live such an exciting life but I appreciate the simple, little things, that make everyday life funny and interesting like when you watch a senior at work put the dice in her mouth thinking that it's the snack that you are feeding her during game time. Dawn suitcase vignettes xo dangerously funny!!
ReplyDeleteA secret agent job would be pretty cool but yes in the end you would have to knock us all off in order to keep you secret. Sounds like a lot of work if you ask me ;) What a lovely blazer you have on I really like the way it is cut.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I understand that! I don't have very many exciting stories to share either. This is a great outfit, very sleek and sophisticated--it would work well for your new secret agent lifestyle! :)
ReplyDeleteCool blazer!

This outfit is just so dang chic! Love the rolled up hems and the asymetrical jacket. I'm sure when that baby arrives there'll be plenty of stories to share :)
