i am now on day four of using (mostly) natural items on my face. i start with a honey mask, wash with the 'yes to carrots' face wash, tone with a lemon slice, and then moisturize with a different oil, depending on the day (jojoba, vitamin e, olive or grapeseed). i realized this morning that my skincare routine is just a tablespoon of dijon away from being a salad dressing.
keepin' it clean (and tasty) on thursday!

ReplyDeleteMegan, you are super sexy today! Hope the skin care is going well, I've been having issues with my face lately. Have you tried argan oil? It's supposed to be great. I only like it on my hands and legs, though. I haven't found anything to soothe my face yet. HAve a great day!

I'm intrigued by the lemon slice toner. What a fantastic idea! And even if it's salad dressing, at least you know you're putting stuff ON your skin you wouldn't mind going IN your body. :)

ReplyDeleteYou look great! I love this dress...I just wish that my boobs would fit the top of dresses like this one. Boob envy lol
ReplyDeleteHa! That's true, but I'm sure your new routine is probably a lot better for your skin than a bunch of chemical creams! Love the breezy maxi!
ReplyDeleteI'll have to try a honey mask! I've been using raw apple cider vinegar as toner and apricot oil for the past few weeks. I love it and my husband says he can see a difference too! The dress is gorgeous on you!
ReplyDeleteso are you thumbs up or thumbs down for the natural thing? or is it too soon to tell?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure which one of you left the very sweet comment on my blog. So I will write this to you both.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the concern about my headache. I love how kind and caring my blog sisters are.
You look gorgeous in this striped maxi. I love it.

That maxi dress looks great on you. I wish I could get natural products to work on my face!
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to clean up my skin care that way! I have tried the yes to carrots and that whole line (I like the tomato mask) to start.

Haha salad dressing face routine-sounds very natural! I personally am hopeless, if I can remember to wash my face it's a good day (yuck I know!) Love the striped maxi- simple but elegant.
ReplyDeleteToo funny! At least you're putting healthy stuff on your skin. I try to use more natural products as part of my skin care routine. If only I could say the same for my eating habits. I love your maxi dress. What a great gift from your sister!
ReplyDeleteMmmm, salad! ^_^ I love the sound of that though, does it work pretty well?
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty maxi, it does make you look super tall and I love the little bright pop of color with your belt.
Ooh love the maxi + stripes combo - perfect! Haha and your face products sound yum! I use teatree-based products which are also quite strongly scented - but in a nice way! :)
ReplyDeletewhat a great summery look! I like how yo've added the red belt for just a tiny bit of colour :)
ReplyDeleteHaha, my face care regime could probably be turned into a dressing as well!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a pretty maxi dress, love the pop of red with the belt :)
