things i am loving this week:
~ my baby girl graduated last night (from preschool). i am so proud of her. she is such a bright and beautiful girl!!
~ veggie burgers and malts. after her graduation, we celebrated at the malt shop. i had a homemade veggie burger slathered in avocado, pepper jack and chipotle mayo. and i washed it down with a fig and banana malt. so yummy.
~ sunny days. i feel like minnesota decided to make up its mind about the weather, and she decided that it's going to be warm and sunny. patio weekends, here we come!
~ garage sales. with the warm and sunny days come the garage sales. we hit up a few last weekend and i got this lovely number. for $3 (i talked her down from $5). i happen to have an odd love of both clocks and embroidery. (i know, you are probably shocked that i like to collect things.)
and here are a few other things we are loving this week.

chris and i have been wanting to build a pergola in our back yard for some time now. of course, this is what i envision when i think pergola (much to chris' chagrin). add some sparkly lights and a few vintage lanterns hanging from the rafters, and i might have to spend my whole summer here!
the reason i don't have a million maxi dresses is that most maxis hang over the waist without giving any definition. being a woman with curvy, child-bearing hips, i need a little definition at the waistline. this might be the perfect silhouette maxi for me! and let's not even get started on these beautiful colors!
i think the one color missing from my shoes collection is mustard. and i don't believe i own any cut-out wedges. so i think i need these, right?
our friend erin bought mimi and eva a skirt almost identical to this one. and every time eva puts it on, i wish i had one for myself. perhaps?
i have been using the same crossbody hobo purse for a while now. and i love it. it's small and compact and light on my shoulders. but i miss carrying anything and everything in my purse. so i think i need a crossbody with a little size to it. this one is perfect!

hurry! heather is getting ready to welcome baby #2 and will be closing her etsy shop tomorrow! but first she is having a huge sale...15% off everything if you enter the code NUMBERTWO at checkout. like i said...hurry!
i am just in love with this gorgeous dress. the print, the cheery red color, the mod shape, the ruffles. i love it all.
this is the perfect purse to carry to all those garage sales megan mentioned above. throw in some cash, your phone, some chapstick, and perhaps a little snack and you're good to go sale-ing all day!
seriously, this dress is so amazing. that is all.
these adorable wedges come in many cute colors, but i am loving the coral right now. so bright and fun and perfect for summer!
what are you loving this week?
xoxo, two birds
