it's a date! *hunt & gather*: sneak peek part 1

as many of you know, nora and i, along with amanda, host the most fun and super awesome vintage pop-up sales (this is me, patting my own back). we are having our next sale next weekend (eek, so soon!). so, a few weeks ago, nora and i got together to do a fabulous photo shoot. we brought props, pulled furniture outside, did our hair, our makeup...we were all set. and then we took about six pictures and for some reason just weren't feeling it. so we stopped, and maybe decided to have a few drinks and eat some good food. maybe. anyways, all of a sudden, we looked at a calendar and realized that the sale is next weekend. and we had no pictures to prove that it's going to be awesome. seriously, awesome. we have loads of oversized sweaters, vintage dresses, boots, jackets, tons of vintage flannels, vests and some wonderful jewels and purses to pull it all together.

last night, as the kids were reading their books before bed, i begged chris to take some pictures of me. i promised him it would only take 15 minutes...and i didn't lie. this was honestly the fastest i have ever picked out outfits, tried on clothes and taken six sets of pictures in my life. so, sadly, i only have six items to show you, but on the plus side, there will be more to come (now that i know i can do it in 15 minutes). i guess that it's a testament to how awesome our clothes are (me patting my back again...i'd pat nora's too if she were with me) that i can show them off in 15 minutes or less. maybe we can start a new show on bravo..."two birds: an outfit in 15 minutes (and $15) or less! i'm liking this idea...
