happy monday, all! i hope everyone enjoyed their weekends...and that you were able to spend the weekends with your kids and/or you moms! i got to do both!! sunday fun day with modelo mimosas (thanks for the idea cayla!) and my not-so-secret recipe margaritas! there are lots of wonderful moms in my family and to be able to spend time with them on mother's day is wonderful!!
on to today's inspiration. the ever-effortlessly casual nicole richie. she has such a great glam/boho/chic look....i would love to raid her closets! here is today's look:
a perfect bring-your-kid-to-the-park look. i love the florals and the denim mixed together...i decided to do a similar but also very different look. i don't own a blue denim jacket. i am not sure why (note to self next time i am thrifting!) but i do have a white one, so i went with a brighter take on nicole's look.

I love a white denim jacket and I like your brighter version of the look! Cute romper! There is no short supply of blue denim jackets at the thrift stores I frequent, so you should have no problem finding one. Finding a white one is a trick so that was a good thrift! Glad you had a great Mother's Day! I brought my oldest home from college Friday, so I had all three of mine home for Mother's Day so it was nice.
ReplyDeleteI love your take on Nicole's look. I recently thrifted a blue denim jacket, but it was off somehow. Too boxy, maybe. Still, the local thrifts are teeming with denim jackets, so I've no doubt you'll be able to find something good.
