it's raining here today, which is better than snow! i actually don't mind spring rain. it's a warmer rain, and i've stolen my son's spiderman umbrella, so i look pretty cool walking from the bus stop to my work! and since it's april 26, i know that this rain will create the little blooms on the trees and start the tulips popping out of the ground. so no, i don't mind at all when it rains like this. it's clean and refreshing...and it makes me think of summer days to come...

the farmer's market
running around the lakes
the state fair
rompers
retro-inspired swimsuits
did i mention sandals?
i could go on and on...there are so many great things about summer. long days, cold beers, tired kids. what are you looking forward to?

I'm not as mad about the crap weather as I thought I would be, either. I actually kind of dig the rain right now, and for the very same reasons. Not so sure about rompers though...but never say never!

that swimsuit is just toooo cute!!! i must say i'm def looking forward to summer. winter in ny was crazy! and spring has almost not been spring but there is light at the end of the tunnel...it's 78 and sunny today.
ReplyDeleteAs I practically blew away (and got soaked to the bone) on my way to class today, I just kept repeating: at least it's not snow, it's not snow, it's not snow! I love rain, but I don't love windy rain. Oh well, win some, lose some! I'm loving all those gorgeous summery photos-- especially those gorgeous polka dot platform sandals! yes please!
