tuesday remix-extended version

this weeks remix was a fun one. i challenged myself to the LBD (little black dress)! an LBD is basically a blank slate. they are fun to style because you can dress them up or down and you can wear a little black dress in any season. it is just a matter of accessorising correctly! i got my LBD at a garage sale last summer. it was originally from the gap, is strapless, and could use a good ironing and de-linting! sorry about that!

the item:

(p.s. for the remix, i usually only style the item three ways. this week i went a little overboard, hence the extended version of the remix. i will give you my favorite three and then a glimpse into the other ways i styled it as well...i hope you like it!)

outfit one: sequins and leopard print

sequin top- arden b, thrifted
belt- thrifted
wedges- classified, i don't remember where they were purchased!
earrings- F21
tights- target

outfit two: a big floppy hat

shoes- colin stuart, victoria's secret
hat- the family dollar
belt- thrifted
necklace, vintage, purchased at rewind

outfit three: relaxed turquoise

shirt- ann taylor, thrifted
wedges- heartbreaker? i don't remember. i have a lot of shoes!
necklace- express
headband- UO

and a glimpse of the other outfits...

my best james dean impersonation:

with or without tights? that is the question:

i think the answer is, with tights...

happy tuesday!

  1. I'm loving the look of a shirt under a strapless dress right now. I also love the sequined top, though!
